Norman Vincent Peale once said about imaging that it consists of vividly picturing in your conscious mind, a desired goal or objective, and holding that image until it sinks into your unconscious mind, where it releases great and untapped energies.
He further said, “When the imaging concept is applied steadily and systematically, it solves problems, strengthens personalities, improves health, and greatly enhances the chances for success in any kind of endeavor.”
In plain terms, the idea as said by some of our Church Pastors, “if you cannot see the future, you cannot feature in it”.
Is this FAITH? Is the power of imagination becoming confused with the inspiration and power of the Holy Spirit?
“If I see right, the cross of popular evangelicalism is not the cross of the New Testament. It is rather a new bright ornament upon the bosom of self-assured and carnal Christianity. The old cross slew men; the new cross entertains them. The old cross condemned; the new cross amuses. The old cross destroyed confidence in the flesh; the new cross encourages it.” – A Tozer
What exactly is Biblical Faith?
